Sign ups are now OPEN for Round 4.
Latest submission date is Sunday 30th March, midnight Greenwich Mean Time. Assignments should be with you by 23 February latest.
If you are in any doubt of meeting it or need to drop out, please let one of the mods know *straight away* so we can reassign. If you are going to be only a little late submitting, please let us know either in a comment to this post or via PM/mods email account (acdholmesfestmods@gmail.com), letting us know how near it is to ready, and we'll offer an extension, but you must commit to meet this or all our hair will spontaneously go white and drop out, possibly not in that order.
Offers of pinch hitters gratefully received now or in future
Posting (anon) starts on Monday 7 April. End of posting depends on how many participants we get. Reveal 48 hours later.

Type of work(s) you are willing to offer: e.g. fic, podfic, art, icons [minimum 10 icons please]. We have no minimum word limit for fics but something reasonably substantial, i.e. over 1,000 words, would be nice.
What you are comfortable working with as a creator: - e.g. gen, het, slash, particular pairings/multiples, casefic, humour, h/c, angst, preferred tropes or kinks [please list], etc: we encourage as much latitude as possible to make it easier to match and because variety is good.
What you would definitely prefer NOT to work with: - as above
What you would like to receive: - type(s) of fanwork, preferences as above
What you would definitely NOT enjoy receiving: - exclusions as above
Any other information you would like to add:
Whether, if needed, you could offer to pinch hit to avoid someone being disappointed:
Crossovers are welcome, but there must be majority ACD Holmes content, please.
Icons or macros - may be based on any of the original illustrations to the ACD stories - not just Sidney Paget's. Camden House has a very full collection.
For all other comm rules, please see the profile page

Type of work(s) you are willing to offer: The fic, the whole fic, and nothing but the fic.
What I’m comfortable working with as a creator: Gen (with slash implied), or slash of variously explicit flavors, for Holmes and Watson only. I’m happy to riff on the whole range of canon, and enjoy writing fic that showcases character and relationship. The story might be humorous, for a given value of humor. It could include deep emotional distress. I do not have ‘preferred’ tropes or kinks. I would enjoy writing a crossover in period. Please, see the next category.
What I would definitely prefer NOT to work with: I do not write infantilized, feminized, or brain damaged characters. I will not disable a character who is not disabled in canon. I have a limited tolerance for tropes and kinks.
What I would like to receive: Fic or Art. Check out what I’m comfortable working with. I would enjoy a story – a case? - set in a liminal space – a carnival, the theater, a cathedral, an archaeological dig, the seaside, a deathbed (not H’s or W’s!), a séance, a war – all these things qualify. Crossovers with Ripper Street welcome. No fannish tropes or kinks, and no anachronisms, please.
What I would definitely NOT enjoy receiving: Exclusions as above.
Any other information: Rock and roll!
Whether, if needed, I could offer to pinch hit to avoid someone being disappointed: Not gonna risk it.
