methylviolet10b and spacemutineer and I reconnected recently and wondered if anyone is out there who would be interested in taking part in a new ACD Holmesfest? Writers, artists,anyone?

We were thinking of opening for signups on the date traditionally assigned as Holmes' birthday - January 6th.

Commenting here will not necessarily commit you but we would like to get an idea of numbers before going ahead ourselves.

Hullo! Would this work similar to holmestice with 1,000 words being the minimum for fic? I would definitely cheer along, but would like to sign up.

Yes, pretty much same terms; although we don't state a word count per se, as it's a gift, a reasonably substantial submission is nice. Re-reads always encouraged around here :-)

Yahoo Groups is no longer going to be anything but mail, so Lyrical Soul (bless her) got AO3 to store all the content and the group itself is now on DW. If you have anything you want over on YH, you have until December to get it before it goes poof.
