If you are in any doubt of meeting the submission deadline or need to drop out, please let one of the mods know *straight away* so we can reassign. If you are going to be only a little late submitting, please let us know via PM/mods email account (acdholmesfestmods@gmail.com), letting us know how near it is to ready, and we'll offer an extension, but you must commit to meet this or the mods will run amok and that is not a pretty sight, let me tell you.

Crossovers are welcome, but there must be majority ACD Holmes content, please.
Icons or macros - may be based on any of the original illustrations to the ACD stories - not just Sidney Paget's. Camden House has a very full collection.

Type of work(s) you are willing to offer: Art!
What you are comfortable working with as a creator: Pretty much anything not mentioned in my nots. I like friendship and romance equally, so really, I'm comfortable with most things and I don't mind drawing things that I don't usually draw. My favourite thing to portray is domestic situations (esp as old guys in love), which can be fluffy living together or sappy porn.
What you would definitely prefer NOT to work with: Basically the things listed as things I wouldn't enjoy receiving, minus graphic sex and mild violence which are A-okay for me to draw!
What you would like to receive: A story focusing on Holmes' and Watson's relationship, be it platonic friendship or tame romance, of any time period. A tale of early years where they both learn how to navigate around each other and discover their own specific tastes (eg. for music, Holmes' intimate violin recitals vs Watson's comic operas, literature with W's yellowbacks, etc) and plans for the future; a post-Hiatus recollection where they have to readjust to things and deal with newly gained literary fame and Holmes' desire to step away from the spotlight; or a retirement story with bees and silly old friends taking care of each other.
What you would definitely NOT enjoy receiving: OOC stuff like Watson being an idiot, darkfic, dubcon or infidelity. Crossovers, AUs (as in in a very different universe, I enjoy minor deviations and retelling of events), supernatural, major deaths, graphic sex and violence, abusive relationships, childhood/children stories, crack, things too heavy on the angst, unhappy endings. Basically, something that is very much not canon in its esssence.
Any other information you would like to add: I love you all, I love this exchange. (Also don't pair me with mistyzeo we hate eachother.)
