Gentlefans,

it's that time of the year again, when cabs clatter through the rain-soaked streets, the Irregulars are on the move (especially one of them, heh), Holmes and Watson are staying indoors solving crimes (amongst other pursuits) and crime is commonplace but logic is rare much less fun .

Sign ups close Monday 8th September, Midnight British Summer Time. Assignments should be with you by 15 September latest. Submission date is Saturday 25th October, midnight Greenwich Mean Time

If you are in any doubt of meeting the submission deadline or need to drop out, please let one of the mods know *straight away* so we can reassign. If you are going to be only a little late submitting, please let us know via PM/mods email account (acdholmesfestmods@gmail.com), letting us know how near it is to ready, and we'll offer an extension, but you must commit to meet this or all our hair will spontaneously go white and drop out, possibly not in that order, and I hate housework.

Crossovers are welcome, but there must be majority ACD Holmes content, please.
Icons or macros - may be based on any of the original illustrations to the ACD stories - not just Sidney Paget's. Camden House has a very full collection.

Type of work(s) you are willing to offer: Fic. (Crochet?)
What you are comfortable working with as a creator: - I’ve written pretty much everything except mpreg, but for ACD Holmes would prefer to stick to canon, gen, casefic and humour. I’ve no objection to writing kink for character other than Holmes/Watson that might push into NC17, and have no real limit for the horror element of NC17.
What you would definitely prefer NOT to work with: Holmes and Watson as anything other than a canon asexual friendship.

What you would like to receive: As above, I like explorations of canon, and concentration on puzzles and detection. Would quite like a period crossover (Holmes and Black Beauty, Holmes and Sexton Blake/Arsene Lupin/Thorndyke/teen Peter Wimsey (the last is, of course, canon)) within the fest rules, and stories based on the more esoteric Holmes skills – horse whispering, pugilism, obscure knowledge of American customs, etc.
What you would definitely NOT enjoy receiving: PWP
Any other information you would like to add: This probably isn’t necessary to add in this fest, but any hint of Mr Cumberbatch’s role as Holmes is personally unwelcome (unless it’s a Cabin Pressure reference).
