it's that time of the year again, when cabs clatter through the rain-soaked streets, the Irregulars are on the move (especially one of them, heh), Holmes and Watson are staying indoors solving crimes (amongst other pursuits) and crime is commonplace but logic israre much less fun .

Sign ups close Monday 8th September, Midnight British Summer Time. Assignments should be with you by 15 September latest. Submission date is Saturday 25th October, midnight Greenwich Mean Time

What you are comfortable working with as a creator: - e.g. gen, het, slash, particular pairings/multiples, casefic, humour, h/c, angst, preferred tropes or kinks [please list], how high a rating will you go, etc: we encourage as much latitude as possible to make it easier to match and because variety is good.
What you would definitely prefer NOT to work with: - as above
What you would like to receive: - type(s) of fanwork, preferences as above. If art, please do not specify only wanting your fic illustrated. Not all artists like to do that.
What you would definitely NOT enjoy receiving: - exclusions as above

Crossovers are welcome, but there must be majority ACD Holmes content, please.
Icons or macros - may be based on any of the original illustrations to the ACD stories - not just Sidney Paget's. Camden House has a very full collection.

What you are comfortable working with as a creator: - gen, het, slash, poly, light or psychological BDSM, clothing kink, kink negotiation, non penetrative sex, inexplicit sex, explicit sex, rating as high (or low) as you like; h/c, casefic, happy endings, unhappy endings, ambiguous endings , major character death, minor character death, retirement fic, consulting husbands but not curtainfic, historical accuracy, real people of the era including ACD himself, interesting female characters whether real people, canon or OC. Mrs Hudson!
What you would definitely prefer NOT to work with: - AUs except possibly different historical periods, Omegaverse, torture, non-con, watersports, high-end BDSM (don't know what I'm talking about), soul bonding, fluff, de-aged, genderswap or kidfic.
What you would like to receive: fic or art. If art, I've always wanted an illustration of Holmes spending "some time with the head llama" *note spelling*, also see below in other information
What you would definitely NOT enjoy receiving: - nothing I've said I won't write, although I can read higher-end BDSM than I can knowledgeably write, otherwise whatever you've got. No Mary bashing, Mary erasure or bisexuality erasure, please. Anachronisms. Please do your research.
