If we do not hear from you by the deadline with a submission or a formal extension request, we will have to assume you have dropped out (although we would really have needed to know that before) and will look around for a pinch hitter to take your place, so please don't forget.

Oh crikey I thought it was the 31st. *shame* I was about to ask if I might have one day's extension and send it in at some point on April 1st, but I now see that amounts to two days extra. Anyway I hope that's all right; if the pinch hitter has already pinch-hit I suppose I'm somewhat redundant but I'll finish it anyway just in case. (:
