Oh, I love your Holmes! I completely agree with thesmallhobbit, it's such a treat to see the relationship from his point of view. And what a pair of rose-tinted glasses he has on for Watson! I loved how Holmes describes him as "extraordinarily beautiful" and "devastatingly handsome" to the extent that "everyone else had noticed," because that's not how I usually think of Watson--it flips the traditional relationship around, so Holmes is the average (in terms of his ability to relate to and attract others) and Watson the exceptional one.
