I was looking through your ficlets for inspiration and had to do the Brighton one because that's where I live! Love all those little details you managed to fit in only 221 words. How would you place it though, I was assuming late 1910s (flu), but would H send W to Brighton if he himself was living on a much calmer part of the coast, so maybe you were thinking earlier? As a compromise I had turn-of-the century inspiration and bathing suit references, but made them look older and more married :)
