Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed raconteur!Watson, and those happy duets. Holmes is always expressing his frustration with Watson's published stories in canon, and I thought it might be oddly sweet if the crux of his problem with them turned out to be the simple fact that he misses the magic of Watson's presence and the play of his thoughts across his face as he speaks; having fallen in love with the way his voice inhabits his words, perhaps Holmes gets easily disgruntled with the limitations of print :)
