Wow, the amount of research you must have done for this must be insane! The story totally feels Victorian to me, from your choice of phrase to the people/things you describe - very, very beautiful.
I loved how you painted Holmes' and Watson's friendship right from the start, bantering and deducing people over lunch feels genuine.
Also, I admit I'd love to read a fic about their first try being together in your Verse, I think it would push all my drama-bottons. =)
