Thank you. I was trying to create a dreamlike environment in which both men could recuperate from their grief and separation, and for Watson to not only recover from the shock of Holmes' return but also to say a proper goodbye to his beloved wife before starting a new life with his beloved friend.

Another big influence was of course Ken Branagh's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. And it doesn't hurt that I live close enough to beautiful Napa Valley that I can go wine-shopping as a day-trip!
