Classic Sherlock Holmes fanworks exchange

Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. I am immensely impressed by the intelligence of this piece in its emotion, its literary acumen, its geographical and historical context. The realism in the handling of the lives and feelings of these characters and where they go from here pulled at me, and I find myself still thinking of this story, still lingering on Holmes and Watson, walking the rows of vines and quietly baring souls and secrets. Mmmm, can't tell you enough how much I loved this.
