I so enjoyed this fic! I love the double-meaning of the title. It's a clever misdirect, almost a double-entendre, that gives nothing away. I would be happy to read about the further adventures of Misses Robartes and Longford. What fun they could get up to in the casinos of Nice and beyond!
Your Holmes and Watson were lovely, too. I liked the format of the unfinished manuscript being pieced together by future researchers/academics. It gave you a chance to play with the storytelling voices, and I think it worked really well. Well done!
