Thanks so much. It was fun to turn such a resolutely heterosexual Canon tale (Watson the happily domesticated husband, Holmes dealing with a devoted wife) into a gay version of a Nick and Nora Charles case.
Where else would Holmes have gotten that giant sponge except from the Cedars' guest bath-room? I just changed who found it first, and why. (Of course Granada did imply that Holmes had his epiphany whilst splashing water on his face - not far off from my use...)
