What you are comfortable working with as a creator: - gen, slash, h/c, angst (with happy ending, and the only pairing I think I can write with some level of success is Holmes/Watson. I like writing a bit of what if AU’s like what if Holmes and Watson would have met earlier or later in life or if Watson told us a story differently and now Holmes is writing the truth, that sort of stuff. Retirement era is good too.
What you would definitely prefer NOT to work with: - kinky stuff, other characters –not Holmes and Watson- featuring heavily, PWP, crack, incest, gore, bdsm, infidelity, extremely heavy angst (might seem a bit of a contradiction but I really have a limit on the angst thing). Not really sure about crossovers. Supernatural things like Vampires and Werewolfs, Omega verse are not my kind of thing either, genderswap, crossdressing and explicit sexual encounters, I can’t write porn, sorry.
What you would like to receive: - I’ll be happy to receive fic or fanarts with the themes I’m confortable working with, basically gen, slash, h/c, a bit of humours, some Watson getting whumped –with good reason- , kid!fics make me happy too (Holmes and Watson meeting as victorian kids, yay!), Watson addictions (alcohol, drugs taken due to pain and getting out of control, gambling) Holmes helping Watson on those difficult first months or to get over Mary’s death. retiremen fic, early days when they are learning each other ways and habits. Fantasy elements like perhaps Watson can heal others at his own expense; I’d love to receive podfics too, since I’m a fan of those and do listen to them a lot (and when I say I lot, I mean like every day when I take the tube back home) Not OOC please.
