What a lovely story - thank you, anonymous friend <3 I was really intrigued by the case, which was novel and exciting, and you did a great job of showing the affection between Holmes and Watson. My favorite part is the air of domesticity, how Watson and Mrs Hudson find their worlds a bit out of orbit without their household being disrupted. And, of course, the last lines.
It was the only conclusion in this case that really mattered to me.
