What you would like to receive: Fic please! Holmes & Watson oriented. While they don't have to be together in a sexual sense, I do believe they are devoted to one another and that Mary Morstan, while loved by Watson, was a bit of a second fiddle. My favorite character is Watson and I prefer his POV. Casefic isn't necessary, but I do love catching references to canon. I often feel that fandom and Holmes adaptations simplify Watson for the sake of complicating Holmes. I really feel that ACD as his editor, edited a lot of Watson out of the stories and I really enjoy an exploration of him, his roles in their relationship, and his rather complicated nature. What made him stick by Holmes's side for decades, yet marry at least once (and perhaps as many as 3 times)? Why did he consider himself a doctor at all times, yet clearly his profession was immortalizing Holmes? And why those particular cases for the Strand? So on and so forth. What you would definitely NOT enjoy receiving: I'm not a kinky person.
