I'm especially pleased that you liked that little image of the two of them in the coda, happy and cosy in their cottage and laughing gladly to recognize hints of the love between these ladies that they'd helped bring together. I think Holmes and Watson know themselves very lucky to have found each other, and it's nice to think that maybe they could have helped their friends stumble into similar good fortune :)
