Your Holmes stories are so wonderful and they bring the neglected characters of canon to life for me in vivid and unexpected ways; I knew when I got this assignment that I wanted to do my best to write something like that for you, too. Once I got to thinking about it, I was surprised by how much Eugenia and Elsie seemed to have in common. And I never tire of all the different ways Holmes and Watson find to love each other; I'm especially glad the idea of music-as-love-language spoke to you.
