FINA/EMPT fics almost always leave a lump in my throat, but you have actually made me cry. Of course Watson would doubt his senses; with the departure to this paradise and the sheer absurdity of how ACD wrote Holmes' return, I could hardly blame him. I'm glad that you gave both characters the time and space to work through their grief and achieve something beautiful together.
