I think I'm just too amazed right now to be very eloquent but I can say this fic must definitely be among my top 10 ever in the Sherlock Holmes fanfiction of all times and universes. You brilliant, amazing anon, you made this be a rollercoaster of emotions and I don't think I can thank you enough for it; it's so well structured! I loved the fact that, although everything is narrated from Watson's POV, we get to know the full background of the tragedies alongside Holmes.
Both Holmes and Watson are very much IC by the way and the rest of the characters are well handled, they don't get in the way of the story but augment the story telling.

I'm a monster/reader who feeds from angst and hurt-comfort (and was a bit scared for John on several points of the story), so I'm happy today. Thank you again.
