I really enjoyed this. Such lovely imagery and the sensory detail is great, it really pays off as far as I'm concerned! (Just melting over here, if you pardon the pun.) I loved how the story zooms in on just one scene—but what a scene!—while there's the wider canvas of the two characters' lives, the changes they have both gone through post-Reichenbach. It's wonderful to find a story where as a reader you don't feel cheated on neither detail nor background, and this one is really wonderful. Thank you for sharing. Now I want honey.:)
