I prefer to write in Holmes-voice, if that matters, and I'm best at a combination of humor, h/c, angst, and/or missing scenes. Not so great with the casefic, and I don't write character death (permanent, anyway). Anything else is fair game; retirement-era, early!fic (my personal favorite), whatever. Totally open to writing basic fandom tropes like kidfic, animal fic, etc. I come from the Star Trek fandom, so if you want to see H&Co as were!kittens that really doesn't strike me as odd. ;) What you would definitely prefer NOT to work with: romance, either het or slash (I can nod to canon as in Mary, but prefer to not have it complicate matters), no character death, no dark fic, no Watson-is-stupid fic. Also nothing that would require a warning (non-con, etc.). I'm a big fan of action scenes, and am shamelessly enamored with straight-up shameless fluff and/or H/C. I'm one of those people who happily watches Christmas movies in the middle of summer, so very little you can do will make me go EUGH TOO SWEET. What you would definitely NOT enjoy receiving - Same exclusions, basically. Please no embarrassing Watson a'la Lady Frances Carfax, no permanent character death, no dark fic, no adult content or kinks; nothing which would require a warning, basically. Also not so big on the whole overused-and-abused drug use thing, but that's just a preference. Any other information you would like to add: I prefer to write early!fic, epistolary fic, and specficially Holmes's semi-snarky POV, as evidence by my epic-length diary-entry fics. My fic pretty much screams me, so if you need to know specifics feel free to take a look. I've been called the Walking Canon because I love details, so canon continuity and nods to minutae are my strongest suits. Whether, if needed, you could offer to pinch hit to avoid someone being disappointed: Afraid not; my schedule's hectic and unpredictable. I'd hate to try for more than one fic and then have to bail out. *is already nervous*
