If you are in any doubt of meeting the submission deadline or need to drop out, please let one of the mods know *straight away* so we can reassign. If you are going to be only a little late submitting, please let us know via PM/mods email account (acdholmesfestmods@gmail.com), letting us know how near it is to ready, and we'll offer an extension, but you must commit to meet this or the mods will run amok and that is not a pretty sight, let me tell you.

What you are comfortable working with as a creator: - e.g. gen, het, slash, particular pairings/multiples, casefic, humour, h/c, angst, preferred tropes or kinks [please list], how high a rating will you go, etc: we encourage as much latitude as possible to make it easier to match and because variety is good.

Crossovers are welcome, but there must be majority ACD Holmes content, please.
Icons or macros - may be based on any of the original illustrations to the ACD stories - not just Sidney Paget's. Camden House has a very full collection.

What you are comfortable working with as a creator: - For Holmes I prefer to write gen casefic/action adventure with only a light levening of relationships/angst (in line with canon). I do write kinkfic (except mpreg) in other fandoms so would be prepared to do so in an emergency (if that would help the mods).

What you would definitely prefer NOT to work with: Definitely not mpreg

What you would like to receive: Fic, art, or whatever the muse supplies. For fic, as above, I like explorations of canon, and concentration on puzzles and detection, stories based on the more esoteric Holmes skills – horse whispering, pugilism, obscure knowledge of American customs, etc. I’d love to see Holmes tackle some of the tropes of later detective fiction: The Body in the Library, the Missing Will, The house (or train) cut off by snow, the investigation of an historical mystery.
