Indeed it does!

I love Holmes's POV, the intense detail and self-criticism, the longing to be home and the impediments to being there. It's wonderful reading and I am convinced that this is how their reunion went now and I love that Holmes wrote it down for Watson to read. A brilliant re-telling.
