It was only after finishing the story that I realised you'd given us a clue to the ending in the title - the story isn't called The Two Fiancées; it's called The Two Brides ^^ I thought that was very neatly done - pointed us to the twist without giving it away.

I loved Miss Robartes - I thought she was an excellent creation. As interesting as Holmes even. (You can imagine a collection of stories of the adventures of Miss Robartes and Miss Longford.) And I do love a happy ending ^^ (And a happy beginning for Holmes and Watson it seems...)
