Ha, fooled you! I'm so pleased you liked this one. And yes, one of the paragraphs in this was lifted straight from the 60 I wrote for the Gloria Scott. I was really pleased to have the opportunity to expand on it.

I imagine you are correct in Watson's happy ending - you are aware of my normal head canons.
