Type of work(s) you are willing to offer: fic of at least 1k or a meta/nonfiction on topic of your choice

What are you comfortable working with as a creator: okay writing gen/het/slash or any combination. I am most comfortable with character-driven fic (romance, drama, humor, etc.) over casefic

What woud you most definitely prefer not to work with: noncon, graphic violence + torture, discussion of suicide are flat out. I'd prefer not to write kink though would give it a try if needed. I also am most comfortable with the Baker Street Three (Holmes, Watson + Mrs. Hudson) and would really prefer to write a story where at least one of them could be a character, though I would certainly be willing to include other characters as well.

What you would like to receive: fic of any length, dealing with the Holmes-Watson relationship (and I do mean the whole spectrum - friendship as welcome as PWP). I have a philosophical bent and would prefer stories dealing with moral qualms, philosophical topic, pretty much anything that makes you think, and generally prefer characterization- or theme-driven to plot-driven fic. Bonus points for dealing with Victorian mores and the rejecting/negotiating of those societal expectations. Bonus bonus points if said societal expectation involves gender or sexuality (which is not to say it has to involve actual sex scenes, though that's fine if it does).

What you would definitely NOT enjoy receiving: Stories with extreme violence, gore, or discussion of suicide. Mediums other than written fanfic. No disrespect meant to all the artist, podficcers, etc. - you are wonderful, I simply have a real preference for the written word.

Any other information you would like to add: I'm American, and while I may be able to arrange a Brit-pick, I may not be able to. I'd prefer to write for someone who didn't specifically request this, since (while I research and proofread and really try my best to avoid it if at all possible!) I would hate for someone's gift to be ruined by an inadvertent Americanism on my part.

Whether, if needed, you could offer to pinch hit to avoid someone being disappointed: Possibly. Probably, actually, but I can't make a guarantee at this point.
