Oh brava, wonderful Anon! This was so very enjoyable on all kinds of levels. First there's the story itself, with elements of case!fic and character study and a marvelous Holmes-voice. Then there's the wonderful artwork, with its wonderful shadings, both in the mundane objects and in the moments it captures in our protagonists.

And then, as if that wasn't enough, there's all the fantastic meta. I laughed out loud for a good minute when I read this phrase in particular:

Then another thought occurred to me, and one with which I had no idea what to do. Maybe women read these stories too. Maybe women wrote them!

Maybe they do indeed!
