Classic Sherlock Holmes fanworks exchange

I think this is a really well balanced story. It has steampunk elements, but it's not about the steampunk. Holmes and Watson are still the focal points, along with the case - and what a lovely case it is; a kidnapped girl, a country inn, the snow coming down. And then there's Holmes itching to tinker wih the mechanical arm...I'll bet he makes some improvements to it before he's done, too.
You can feel the affection between them. So. Much. Fun.
