Really catches you by the throat. So much revealed. Lovely.

This is a lovely illustration of that moment with that sad look of contemplation on Holmes's face. I cannot help feeling a desire for a matching picture of the time when Watson's wounded leg was tended and the air was becoming much clearer between them.

Absolutely gorgeous!

Flawedamythyst is out of the country, so can't get to her LJ but says it's awesome.

A lovely image of a complicated scene. Wonderful! I love that one stockinged foot against the carpet, and Holmes's sad eyes.

Awwww - Watson's hand in Holmes's hair. A lovely poignant moment between the two of them.

Such a gorgeous colour scheme. And an interesting choice of how exactly to illustrate the scene. In the story, of course we see things from Watson's POV; in the picture, the emphasis is on Holmes.

Hi! I'm back in the UK now. Thank you so much for this, it's perfect. You've picked one of my favourite moments from that fic, and done a lovely job. I love the look on Holmes's face.

Love the contrast between the cheerful colors and solemn expression on Holmes' face -- and everything else about the picture XD

A beautiful illustration full of feeling for a truly lovely story. In the little lines around Holmes' eyes, you can sense the weight of years. As always, the details are what are so amazing. Just the stitching on Watson's shoe is enough to push me over. I love it all.

I love the way you've chosen to frame this, zooming in on the essential, so to speak. The naked emotion on Holmes' face is very moving.

(Love the carpet too!)
